Antique Edwardian Dwarf Bureau Bookcase Circa 1900
Antique, Edwardian, dwarf, bureau bookcase. Circa 1900. Very rare to find a bureau bookcase in these small dimensions. It would have been a custom made piece, most likely for a child.
Golden coloured Mahogany with classical style inlay to the fall, fitted interior and glazed upper section. Three drawers below with brass swan neck handles and resting on bracket feet. See earlier post for video.
It measures 660mm wide x 370mm deep x 1100mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
