Georgian Mahogany Chest Of Drawers
Georgian Mahogany chest of drawers of perfect colour and patina.
Circa 1800. The top lifts up to reveal storage space which sits behind the two top dummy drawers. Bone escutcheons and over bracket feet.
Three large drawers below. These have had many small repairs over the last 220 years, they have the original brass handles (showing some wear to a couple of them) that still function very well. The drawers all slide well.
It measures 1260mm wide x 572mm deep x 1095mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
