Late 18th Century Oak Mule Chest
Late 18th Century Mule chest.
Oak construction with carved initials and date flank the lock escutcheon and sit above the trio of panels. There are two drawers below.
There has been a fair amount of restoration to this piece over the years, with the top and base boards being replaced as well as the hinges.
It is a beautiful warm Oak colour. It measures 1275mm wide x 590mm deep x 770mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
