Regency Mahogany Games Table Circa 1820
Fabulous Regency mahogany games table. Circa 1820.
The top is inlaid with a chessboard and cribbage, and this slides to reveal a compartment beneath. There is a raised on ring turned legs ending in brass casters. One of the handles is a later replacement and the slider is a little stiff at the end but still functions well.
It measures 750mm x 510mm and is 714mm high. With the leaves down it is 346mm x 510mm.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
