Victorian Walnut Double Ended Sofa
Victorian Walnut double ended sofa. Circa 1880.
Very generous size with Medallion back and well executed carving to the beautiful Walnut frame, acanthus leaves fall over the scrolling arms and flowers sit above turned legs with original casters.
The upholstery has marks and a button missing. Would be stunning with new fabric.
It measures 1800mm long x 670mm deep x 890mm high. The seat height is 450mm.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
